Members of the project team frequently give talks about their work, and recently contributed to the project one-day forum Liberty at the National Library of Wales on 24 September 2011.

We will be holding a major international conference in Aberystwyth in 2012. Locating Revolution: Place, Voice, Community 1780–1820 will be jointly hosted by the Wales and the French Revolution Project; the Centre for Romantic Studies, Aberystwyth University; and the Department of English, Swansea University on 9-12 July 2012.

This conference will explore the relation between geography (considered as place, landscape, cartography and real and imagined space) and change during the period of the revolutionary wars.
